In the country there are 81,466 suspected cases that are patients who have undergone a laboratory test, although the result is pending so far.

In addition, to date 635,729 people have had a negative test result, which has reached the figure of 1 million 291,083, an amount that results from adding the negatives with the suspects and the positives, including the deceased.

Alomía reported that the health authorities estimate that those infected in the country reach 608,825 if those confirmed are added plus a percentage of the suspects who will test positive.

Likewise, in this way 63,814 deaths are estimated.

Of the estimated cases, around 7%, representing 39,616, would be patients with active disease, which are those that Health detects with symptoms in the last fourteen days, Alomía explained.

The network of hospitals in Mexico dedicated to treating COVID-19 patients currently has 31,269 general beds, of which 19,731 are free and 11,538 are occupied, 37% of the total.
