A private function for two people, a couple or a small group of friends, as moviegoers and fans of the experience of watching a movie on the big screen have always wanted, now it is possible because cinemas can be rented.
With this new normal that has changed everything, the way of going to the movies has also radically changed. A highly innovative modality that has generated a lot of expectation is renting a movie theater to attend only with your partner or with a small group of friends.

The cinema was one of the activities that were most affected by the pandemic and also one of those that thousands of people missed the most in this time of confinement. And despite the fact that theaters in Mexico have opened at 30% of their capacity and with very strict prevention measures, a new way of attending a movie on the big screen has caused a sensation.
So far, the Cinemex chain has been the one that has implemented the option of renting a room for 700 Mexican pesos to people who want to attend the movies privately. However, this modality has its restrictions such as for example that only 2 to 5 people can attend or in case of being 10 the price will go up to 1,100 pesos.
Another restriction is that the rooms can only be rented in VIP or Platinum cinemas, which have large and comfortable armchairs as seats while the staff will provide service so that people who rent the room can order food such as popcorn, Soft drinks and other dishes in a personalized way from the comfort of the living room.
To be able to rent these rooms, it can only be done from Monday to Thursday since on weekends their price will rise. To carry out this rental process it is necessary to go to the cinema pages or directly to the facilities.
