The Bitter Drink That Let Chiquis Rivera Win Her First Grammy

Despite being one of the happiest moments of her career, Chiquis Rivera receives criticism and accusations in the middle of her first Latin Grammy

Yesterday was held in Miami, the 21st delivery of the Latin Grammy Awards, one of the most anticipated events for those dedicated to music; Chiquis Rivera excitedly received her first award.

Jenni Rivera’s eldest daughter achieved what her mother could not do before leaving, she won a Latin Grammy, but this has cost Chiquis Rivera a bitter drink amid speculation.

Although Chiquis has been in the music industry for years, users on social networks have stated that she would have bought her award for "best band music album" that she won, questioning her professionalism.

Chiquis competed alongside Banda la Ejecutiva, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, Banda Lirio and La Séptima Banda, her album ‘Playlist’ being the one that swept the award, which led her to scream with excitement when she knew she was the winner.

While most congratulate Rivera for his award, there are those who want him to have a bitter drink saying that he bought the nomination, the singer points out to all of them that they believe in their dreams, that if he is in that position today it is based on effort.

“There comes a point in your life that you have to accept that there are people who will NEVER love you well. No matter what you do, they will look for "the ugly one" … it’s not your problem, if not theirs. #BrushYourShouldersOFF, ”Chiquis Rivera wrote on twitter.

The weeks prior to this recognition have not been the best for Chiquis, who is currently in the middle of a divorce process after just over a year of having married singer Lorenzo Méndez.

"Today I made a very important decision … … to divorce from any thing or person that takes away or does not give me inner peace, no matter how much I love them … today I decided to love myself, MORE", was the message he sent before his new life.
