Less than 24 hours after Mía Rubín Legarreta released her new single titled “Flecha”, she was accused of plagiarism, since said song is a cover of the song “Me rehuso” that Dany Ocean released in 2016, however, the anger of the netizens went further, since both Mía and her father Erik used the arrangements made by the duo "Daniel you’re killing me" and supposedly they did not give them the credit.

As expected, Erik Rubín immediately came out in defense of his daughter and it was through his Instagram stories that he decided to clarify the situation by saying that they did give credit to "Daniel, you’re killing me" and that even one of the keyboardists He is a great friend of the Mexican duo, in addition to the fact that they were aware that they would use his version in the virtual concert with his daughter.

Erik explained that from the first time they performed the song, which was in December of last year, he explained that the version of the song was by the duo, and also invited his followers to listen to the arrangement they made to the song:
