Eating Midnight Makes You Obese And Diabetic

It has been proven that it is not at all positive that you eat at midnight, that is why you have to have better habits when it comes to eating. The compelling reason why you should not consume food during the middle of the night is that this goes against your biological clock, you must respect the rules for eating during the day, doing the usual things and activities so as not to alter your systems.

Scientists from the aforementioned university clarify that "simply changing meal times can greatly affect body weight." Those in charge of carrying out this study and led by Fred Turek carried out the research as follows:

Eating at night causes obesity and diabetes

They kept 2 groups of mice on a high-fat diet for 6 weeks. The first group was fed during the night (since they are nocturnal animals); to the second, during the day, shifting your biological clock out of phase.

The results amazed the researchers, they could see that the second group gained more weight than the first. Turek concluded that eating against the biological clock facilitates obesity.

That is why the biological clock must be respected, since the circadian clock, or the biological regulation system, is in charge of recording the daily cycles of your diet, your daytime activities and the balance of your sleep.

It has also been discovered that there is an internal clock in the body that regulates the use of your energy. The word circadian comes from the Latin word circa (around) and from ‘diano’ (day), and as its name implies, the period they comprise is approximately one day.

It is recommended not to eat during the night and that the food you eat be before 7 at night. That way you give time for your body’s normal digestion to take place. But if you do it at midnight, you can cause diabetes, obesity, insomnia, depression and other diseases.
