For the year 1955, the first school for physical therapy technicians was instituted in Mexico , in addition, on a day like today but in that same year the Mexican Association of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (AMTFR) would be founded, which would later change its name to the Mexican Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, many people ignore the power that physiotherapy sessions have on their physical recovery, and that is why even if it is prescribed by a doctor, the vast majority of patients prefer to skip them; however, this is nothing more than the result of ignorance, since much is still unknown about its benefits.

A physiotherapist is in charge of caring for and treating all those people who are suffering from physical problems, which can occur as a result of injuries, illnesses or aging, and this undoubtedly helps them to recover their quality of life; It is also based on very friendly methods for everyone such as massages, stretching, manipulation and more.
