WhatsApp has excellent news since a new function will let you know when a person has connected to the app just like Windows Live Messenger did a few years ago.
Once again the most famous messaging tool in the world, WhatsApp has surprised its millions of users with a new advantage that will allow you to know when any of your contacts have just connected to the app , just as messenger did a few years ago.
It should be noted that the application has a desktop and portable version called WhatsApp Web, with which accounts can be linked to browsers such as Google Chrome , Safari , Firefox , Microsoft edge , among others. And as if this were not enough, now WhatsApp can send a notification when a contact has connected.
Just as the famous Windows Live Messenger did, which was ranked as the best instant messenger from 1999 to 2005, during that time, WhatsApp will now do the same, though with the help of an extension that has to be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store and install it in your browser.
To achieve this you must follow these simple steps:
- Once the extension is installed, you will click on the puzzle icon (Extensions … upper right corner)
- All your Chrome extensions will open, but you must search for "WA Web Plus for WhatsApp" and go to the three vertical dots on the right side
- You will press Set
- In the upper right corner a green cross-shaped icon will appear, located in a circle, it is the extension "WA Web Plus"
- You will enter WhatsApp in the usual way
- You will touch the icon "Wa Web Plus"
- WhatsApp web will open with a long list of options. You will mark "Notice of online contacts" and that’s it. Now you will know when any of your contacts have connected to WhatsApp.
Thousands of users are delighted with this new feature and it joins the full preview that allows you to see a complete display of the information to be shared. This means that the preview links will take up more space on the screen.
