For his part, the make-up and costume designer, Enrique Hernández , legally denounced Mariano Martínez for kidnapping, torture and threats . “On Friday, June 10, Mariano Martínez contacted me, it is no secret to anyone that he is Livia Brito’s current partner, I am dedicated to fashion style, image and aesthetics, and he contacts me on Instagram for a closeness in terms of my work, for a possible opportunity to work and make a link with his girlfriend”, he declared in an interview for Ventaneando .

Regarding the incident he experienced, Enrique said in his account: "He made an appointment for me on Tuesday, June 14, I went around 11 in the morning, I was at his house for about 40 minutes, everything was fine, I did my esthetics, I left the place and it was until the other day, Wednesday, June 15, when he wrote to me and told me ‘I was checking the cameras and it looks like a bag with my documents was misplaced’. He asks me for my address and phone number […] I agree and he writes to me ‘I’m away from your house’, that’s when I leave, he gets me into his truck, he tells me ‘let’s go to my office which is in División del Norte, so we can check the cameras.’” Later, Enrique would be deprived of his freedom:

That’s when they put me in the apartment and told me ‘Look, things are like this, you were in my house, that bag was lost with money. And I’m just telling you, either you show up the bag or we’ll disappear here’, they were no longer documents, it was money and with an amount of 50 thousand dollars, something like that, and I didn’t understand a thing. At that moment he makes a sign to his partner and they bring the ropes, they tied my shirt and placed some ropes on top, they took my cell phone, they took the password from my cell phone and they wrote to my roommate as if it were me saying ‘ Hey, how are you? I forgot something at home and a friend is going to look for it’, and he left with my keys, Mariano came out with my keys and left me with his partner.

After what happened, the fashionista assured that he had lived through the most difficult moments having been deprived of his freedom. "His partner was all the time…, he took out a knife and sat in front of me and began to sharpen it, and he began to pass the knife across my face, and the moment he picked me up he put it on my back and I said ‘ here he’s going to give me the first stab,’ I felt, and after a while he unbuttoned my pants, he left me sitting on the furniture and he stayed like that the whole time, as if doing things to me to scare me, he tightened the rope on me, like for 4 or 5 hours”.

To regain his freedom, Enrique explained that things took an unexpected turn, and that from one moment to another Mariano had returned with a new attitude, one totally different from how he had behaved, and that he even invited him to something to eat.
