It was in 2018 when Juan and Maki decided to officially announce that they were separating mainly due to time issues, since he, in addition to being an actor, is a businessman in Mexico and she never agreed to settle in this country, so Juan had no alternative but going to visit his daughters every 15 days, until he realized that this situation was not for him.
