Jessica Hindman, name of the violinist and current professor at the University of Northern Kentucky, United States released her story that immediately went viral and has generated surprises around the world due to the unusualness of the story.

According to what was related by Jessica Hindman, the violinist who told the whole story about the fake orchestra in which she participated, to the BBC, the success was unexpected, as were the performances that the orchestra did in each presentation.

Jessica wrote all that she lived with the orchestra while she was 21 years old in the book called “Sounds like Titanic”. According to what was reported by the now teacher, she was in the orchestra from 2002 to 2006, for four years.

Upon finding an orchestra job, after finding an ad soliciting violinists, a passion she had had all her life, Jessica had just finished college and needed an income to pursue her dream of becoming a journalist.

To Jessica’s surprise, she was immediately hired into the orchestra by The Composer, as she calls the person in charge of the entire project. His surprise was when in a town in the United States he was with the members of the orchestra selling CDs for the public while they “played”, but in reality they were using recorded tracks.

The recorded tracks were common in each presentation of the orchestra, as Jessica relates that it is not illegal to use them, since many artists make the so-called play back in large shows and presentations. However, for her it was a good cause since the idea of The Composer was to reach people who had never before had access to classical music, which the orchestra played around the United States.

In reality, during Jessica Hindman’s years of stay, neither she nor the orchestra played an instrument live, instead using only recorded tracks at each performance. The success was so much that they even traveled all over the United States and reached China as one of the most recognized orchestras, until one day they were discovered on a television show on the American network PBS.
